Michael Wandelmaier is an illustrator and graphic designer who currently lives and works in Toronto, Canada. Though formally trained as a civil engineer and geologist, Michael has chosen to pursue a career in the arts. He uses both traditional and digital media in his work.

SOUTHERN ROTATION AROUND BARING HEAD
Rob Wilson shot this image November 10 2012 of startrails over the lighthouse at Baring Head, in Wellington, New Zealand. The lighthouse was one of the last two towers to be built in New Zealand and was constructed in 1935. The stars rotating in the shot are the southern end of the Milky Way
Wilson used a Canon 5D MkIII and was shooting at ~16mm on his 16-35mm 2.8 Canon lens; the final product was image stacked
